Our Vacation

Well I just wanted to tell everyone that we are finally going on a vacation!!! Not just to Pigeon Forge, but to the beach and out of the state! We are leaving very early in the morning and will be on the beach tomorrow evening! I can't wait. Jason, the boys, my in-laws and I are going to have the best time! I think my husband needs this vacation more than anyone.
Everyone have a great Labor Day! Will post pictures as soon as we get home. Also Dayne starts preschool when we get home, so lots more to come!

Tallan's First Trip

Tallan, my mom, and I went to Germantown over the last couple of days and got to spend some time with Maggie and her family, she is my future sis-in-law (Yeah!! :) ) We were able to go to The Peabody hotel just for a moment and here is Tallan getting his picture made with the famous ducks. He was sleeping, he really showed a lot of excitement. It was also Elvis week there so we got to see many tourists in their full Elvis get up, it was fun! Just HOT!
But thanks Maggie and Mr & Mrs. Cunningham for everything! Now we need a date and I think everything will fall into place! I can't wait!
Oh just so everyone knows, Tallan is 6 weeks old in this picture. Not the best but it was a cell phone.

Tender Moments

Dayne's 1st Tractor Pull!

I know that many of you want pictures of Tallan and I promise you that they are coming, but this past weekend was a full weekend of lots of family time! Friday night we took Dayne to the Hillsboro Tractor Pull. We wanted to spend some time with Dayne, without his new little brother, just to have some good quality time and in our eyes a way to make Dayne the center of attention and to feel special. He was in heaven and of course we are good parents and have his ears protected. Dayne loves tractors and for those of you who have been to our home you can attest to that by the number of them we have in our living room :) But we wanted Dayne to experience different kinds of tractors.

Tallan spent the evening with my in-laws and I don't think missed us b/c he slept the whole time we were gone. Dayne is doing well with his little brother. Very sweet and helpful. He tells me when Tallan is crying that he needs milk. He gives his little brother kisses all the time and just wants to watch him.
All is well for us, still adjusting, I am wishing for more sleep. Tallan is growing and changing everyday! He is already 1 month old, how sad, and how fast the time goes.

More Pictures

Hey here are some more pictures from 2 weeks ago now. Can you guys believe it, 2 weeks has past already. Please click on the collage so you can see each picture a little bigger. I am slowly getting my film developed and back and on my computer. Then it takes time to post stuff.
We are all doing really good. Tallan is eating wonderful and sleeping pretty good. At night he is going about 3 hours at a time, which isn't bad, but I wish he would go longer! Dayne is still okay with his new brother. He loves to hold his brother and to kiss him and to pretty much protect him, but he still wants his attention too. Adjusting to 2 his kinda hard at first. I was actually impressed with myself the other morning I feed Tallan, then with him in one arm, made Dayne's breakfast, changed Tallan, cleaned up the kitchen, then changed Dayne, and then feed Tallan again. How strange it was just walking around doing everything like I had been doing it forever. How we adjust so easily!

Here He Is!

Here is TALLAN DEAN CROSSLIN
I hope you can see his little face!! He came into this world on July 5th at 0753. He weighed 6 pounds and 14ounces and 19 1/4 inches long. A very long cry from what Dayne was, 8 pounds 1 ounce and 21 inches. But that is okay he is perfect and wonderful! Growing everyday and already over 1 week old. That is hard to believe already.

My Family!

Well here we are! Our family of 4. What a true and wonderful blessing! No matter what you go through to bring each child into this world those memories quickly fade away when you see this. I am sorry you can't see the baby I will post more soon. But here is us now! We are the Crosslin's a family of 4- I hope this newest member holds on for the ride of his life. We are crazy, busy, and love each other more and more everyday!!

Delivery Day!

Well here is my last pregnant picture. This was taken at 4am on the 5th of the July. We had to arrive at the hospital at 4am for a 0730 delivery time. Not a pretty picture but my last pregnant picture before we had to opportunity to meet our newest son! Hospital gowns are a fashion statement!!
I have lots of pictures to post, just please be patient I am doing this on nap time breaks b/w my 2 boys.

Into Everything

Here is my son again-----
I don't know if he got bored or what but he climbed into my clothes hamper in my closet yesterday morning and had a great time. He even ate his snack in there.... go figure.
He is riot and everyday is something new which is a true blessing and a needed relief.
I have gotten so caught up in what needs to be done for the new baby that his little comic reliefs bring me back down to earth! I couldn't ask for a better child, God really does know what he is doing when he brings these miracles into your life.

Mister Model

I know that these pics are about a month old, but would all look at my son. He did this pose by himself no help no coaching. He is too cute, in my opinion :) He loves the pool and we try so hard to get him there every weekend. Jason sure gets his workout with Dayne.

2 Prego Mommas!

Okay I love you Jenn, but this pic of me is horrible. I put this picture in Black and White to see if the spot on my face wouldn't be so
noticeable. This picture was taken on my cell phone and there is something all over my face, probably just a shadow from the tree.

Jenn and I had a mush needed day shopping this past Saturday. I have everything that
we could possible need except the stroller and I know what I am going to get just have to order it. So I feel very prepared!!
As much as I love my son and watching our 2 sons play I don't think that we could have been as successful shopping as we were. Plus I really needed the day of just the 2 of us! Getting to talk about all sorts of stuff and comparing ideas and both of us having swollen feet and big bellies was just fun too! I loved that in Panera Bread everybody just starred at us. Obvious starring, turning around in there seats and starring. I wanted to stay to them have you never seen a prego lady before??? Maybe it was the 2 of us together but we both assure you that we are not going into labor any time soon:) Mine is schedule and Jenn needs to get past July 8th.

I hope to post some pics of the nursery and Dayne soon, but if I don't please forgive me next week is the BIG DAY!!!! and I am trying to spend as much time with my son as I can and not on the computer!

Father's Day

I found this picture on my mom's computer. I know that Dayne is 2 years old now, but this is the day that made my husband a father. To watch daily the special bond between my son and my husband is truly priceless. He is the best dad and I am so lucky to have him. He gave me Dayne and soon our new son. I know being a mother is the most awesome feeling but watching my son and my husband is even better.

Father's Day

Well Happy Father's Day to you all out there!! Today after church we went to my in-laws house for an afternoon at the pool. I think this is how ever father should have spent father's day relaxing in the pool. Jason had a great time, but as usual Dayne worn him out. They have just both woken up from a much needed nap. Jason is the best father to our son, God truly blessed me by putting him in my life and giving us a wonderful, awesome, precious child and soon one more.
