Finally!!

Okay finally after 4 weeks the stent is out. And trust me it was not pleasant :) Something that should just take a few minutes seemed to go on forever. Thanks to my baby boy putting some pressure on my bladder the stent was hard for the Urologist to 'get a hold of' so that in return made the removal part harder than normal, then to what he did not want to have happen happened. The stent was calcified on both ends and throughout the middle. That is where the BIG OUCH came from. ( for those of you who don't know a stent goes from your bladder up to the kidney, use your imagination, but that has some distance to it! :))
He said I should feel like myself tomorrow!!! I pray he is right!!!!
I am just glad that love hate relationship b/w me and my stent is over- now I have already had a little talking to with my new son and have pleaded for no more problems- we only have 4 more weeks to go- he need to be on his best behavior!! Keep us in your thoughts and prayers, we really only have 4 more weeks!!

Huge News!!!

It is not about me.....
My little brother got engaged yesterday!!!!!!!!! I am so excited!!!! He and his now fiance Maggie live in Virgina, but I am sure the wedding will be in her home town of Germantown! I have never been there, so I am definitely excited to visit. I can't wait!!! He is growing up on me and soon will be a husband- how funny is that :) I love you Jasen, Congratulations to you both!!!

Fun Day with Cooper and Jenn!!

After my recent drama with the kidney thing- Jenn and Cooper were awesome and came up and visited us for the day. The day before when Jenn and I decided on this play time all Dayne would say is 'Cooper come on', 'Cooper coming.' The boys had so much fun together and I was proud of them both, especially mine, for sharing and getting along so great! I so wish our schedules were different and distance wasn't involved b/w them!
I only hope that these two boys and the next two coming are as close as Jenn and I are. They would be so lucky!

Swinging- Cooper definetly loves to swing and we are teaching Dayne to swing on the bigger swings vs his toddler swing. He is getting it!

I am so happy that you guys came and spent the day with us! We will in Chattanooga soon I promise!

Uncle Jasen

Well my little brother has moved far far from home. He has always been close to home, within an hour drive. But last Tuesday he and his girlfriend Maggie moved to Maryland/ VA- Washington D.C.- That is how bad I am I say D.C. but really they are across the river. I am very happy for them both, they are both based out of D.C. ( they are pilots). So this way they are close to home. We had a big cookout the night before they left and Dayne and his Uncle Jasen had a lot fun playing together!!!

If only Dayne would have looked at me!!!

I didn't know that this step in my brother's life would affect me so much! I guess I have always taken for granted that he lived in Nashville and we saw him every 2 weeks or so, depending on his schedule. But to know that he is a 10 hour drive from home really has put some emotions into check. I only wish them the best and I hope that they both enjoy the new city that they moved to! I love you guys!!!

The True Helper!

My father-in-law plants a wonderful garden every year and last week Dayne got his first experience at planting vegetables. Here he is helping his Pa Pa with the tomatoes!
Such precious moments and it is moments like this I wish he would remember when he gets older. But these pictures will help him!

Quality Daddy Time!

Here are a couple pictures of what Dayne loves to do more than anything! He loves his tractors and tractor time.
Whenever we go to my in-laws he has to ride on the tractors. But it is also is great daddy time!

My Latest Pregnancy Update......

Here is a picture of my awesome son. This was taken with my cell phone so not that great of a pic. But this is why he is awesome.
This past Wednesday when I got up and was getting ready I kept feeling like I was having cramps which I shouldn't really be feeling those. So Dayne and I went to my mom's for the morning and the feelings just wouldn't go away so after 2 hours I called the doctor to get the instructions we all know-- go lay down and put your feet up and rest if they don't go away then call us back. Okay most of you know how busy we are, so when was that going to happen. I just told Dayne that mommy had a small boo boo and she needed to go to the office and sit still and work on the computer. After a few hours my problems were going away which was nice, but then again after dinner here they came again, but the problem was it was much more intense then in the morning. So here I am- I got in bed and went to sleep. Only to wake up the next morning with the feeling of everything coming out of me and my back just ached like you would not believe. I got Dayne to preschool Thursday morning and to take care of me I go get some breakfast and head out to our office b/c Thursday's are payroll days and I have to have that done. By this time I am in pain- which I hate to admit. But I call the doctor again to say I am having some more problems. So Thursday just got worse for me b/c Jason is in Chattanooga and the doctor is telling me to come in to the office as soon as possible. But first things first is payroll :) When I finally get to the office he checks me does all the fun stuff then sends me over the hospital for a Nonstress test- which is fine b/c I thought I was having contractions and that I just bought myself bed rest at 29 weeks not good for me!! But even though I was having all that pain they weren't contractions and guess what-- I got to go home. Jason had gotten to the hospital by this time and he just didn't understand that these pains I was experiencing wasn't contractions. Well we drive home (we live 40min. from the hospital) We get home and I get into bed b/c I am hurting so bad in my back that nothing is helping, no position, can't sleep b/c of the pain and I let this go on for hours before I call anyone. And my husband is getting mad at me b/c I won't call anyone and Dayne just keeps looking at me and getting in bed with me and laying with me. He was helping more than he knew! He just kept saying mommy bed, mommy bed. Well let me speed this up some. We call the doctor at 9:45pm and end up back in the hospital that night remember the drive time- and back in L&D and back on the monitors. Oh by the way I have been vomiting through all of this but I thought I would like to save you from those moments. Guess what I am not in labor, but there is something wrong with my kidneys! Oh how fun! End up that this new lovely little boy inside of my has occluded off my right ureter (which goes from your kidney to your bladder) so they thought I had kidney stones. That is a much nicer diagnosis than preterm labor at 29 weeks. Friday was fun too. All day in the hospital that I work in as a patient. First an ultrasound of my kidneys, then and IVP dye test of my kidneys, then guess what off to surgery. Of course I look horrible, been vomiting, been up for a long time, barely had a shower, and then off to surgery in the department that I work in looking like this. Things couldn't get any better. But pain meds are a good thing! After my procedure to open my ureter the Urologist didn't think I had any stones, oh he was wrong b/c they decided to come later on in the early morning hours of Saturday. Fun, Fun, Fun! I really don't wish kidney problems, stones on anyone especially those of you out there that are prego too! But my son, my wonderful son came to see me Friday afternoon after everything was done and he was a champ! He liked L&D for all the attention, but also b/c of the nursery. The grandmas kept taking him to the nursery to look at the babies and he was in heaven, the only thing was he kept wanting to hold them. He is going to be an awesome big brother! So there is my update and my excuse for not blogging in so long.
And I also have to say that my husband should get an award! He was totally awesome and such a great support. He even told me to slow down, stop doing so much, and get fat if I want to. How sweet is he!!!!! I hope you all have husbands like mine we would all be so lucky!

Bubbles!

The invention of the bubble machine is brilliant! Dayne loves bubbles, as so does every other child, but to have this machine around makes it fun. We just fill it up and turn it on. Jason and I have gotten where we like having all the bubbles around too.

Lazy Boy

Okay here is my lazy boy! This past Saturday morning he was watching Disney Channel from my bed. He surprises me all the time with his actions and body movements. (Sorry about my bedroom) How grown up they act so soon!

New Toy

Here is Dayne's newest toy. We were so excited to finally get him this swing set. Everyday he wants on it and the smiles are endless. Jason worked very hard at putting all the rock around the bottom and we are secretly hoping that Dayne may take all his toys out there so our flower garden we started a long time ago may come to life. He has had so much fun with this, I highly recommend not waiting like we did.

I Have A Lot to Share!

Here is myself and Dayne. I just wanted to share the fact that he and I couldn't get a picture together, so this was the closest we got. By the point in the day that this picture was taken Jason had already walked off (2nd roll of film) and Dayne was not interested in the camera at all. What can you say, I tried.

Okay here I am, 6 months prego (26 weeks tomorrow) Less than 100 days to go. Do you all see how big that belly is :) The miracle of life! My new little man is coming around more and more and letting me know that he is having fun inside my belly giving me kicks all the time and he has really been enjoying my bladder. Out of no where he lands on it, he is taking after his big brother. This is actually my first belly shot, that I allowed.

More Pictures!

Now it is time to show you the egg hunt. My son already thinks that he is a pro b/c of his preschool egg hunt. Look at him closely! He collects his eggs, examines them, if they had candy then he put them in his bunny bag, if no candy they went back on the ground. He was pretty smart.

He would never look at me, but he was so serious throughout the hole hunt. I didn't want to break his concentration. I wish everyone could see my video of this hunt.

Pa Pa again helping Dayne, he filled that bag so fast. He then started using his pullover's pockets.



I think he is either negotiating with Karen or telling her something about the egg. Oh and please don't touch his candy. What the poor child doesn't know is that we had to throw away all of his Easter candy b/c of his overeating. (This is for the first picture)

Do you see the egg in his pocket? This child was not messing around. The open egg lays on the ground. Have no clue where the candy is.... in the tummy I am sure. He didn't like the real eggs, that people had taken time to dye, he just left those on the ground. (this is for the first picture as well)

I am so sorry about my pictures and comments getting messed up, very frustrating!

Easter.......

Okay I'm back! And I finally have most of my Easter pictures. I wanted to share with all of you Jason's side of the family. This top picture is just grand and great grand children. There are lots of us and thanks to some of us we keep expanding this family !!! Valerie newest one, Blake is in the arms of Jason's grandfather and of course mine is coming July.

Easter was a wonderful day and great family day. Easter Sunday only topped off the great weekend we all had together as a family. We see each other a lot, but I think we had fun.

Not only is Easter for celebrating Jesus Christ, but family time is very important. Another holiday when you go home and crash.

Crazy, Stupid, Cold!

Okay here is a start to my crazy weekend. My sister-in-law's and I planned a yard sale a while back, you remember when we were wearing short sleeve shirts, shorts, flip flops! Well we started the yard sale on Friday and continued on Saturday. The high on Friday was suppose to be maybe 50. My father-in-law built us a fire to stay warm. The yard sale was fun and if nothing else we had a great bonding weekend.

This picture was taken on Saturday when the temperature was even colder. As you all can see we are very bundled up. Lots of layers and Friday tons of customers- Saturday not so good.
To top off Saturday we cooked hot dogs and marshmallows over the fire.














Here is Karen and Me, still bundled up. In the background you can see all the clothes. Karen brought in the money! I don't know how you had all that stuff in your house! Please go buy some new clothes now that you have none in your house and redo the bathroom like you want too!
